One-world design submitted proposals in response to the AC-CA international design competition for a new pedestrian bridge in the heart of Amsterdam. The iconic bridge design was developed around the themes of The Netherlands and Amsterdam, the juxtaposition of the formal and informal and the joy to be gained from cycling. Our entry was deliberately tongue-in-cheek and cheerful. The resulting structure would be a fun addition to the pedestrian and cycle routes of the historic city.
